In my last post, I talked about the question of whether EQ was important to project managers. I believe it is important. Further, I believe that other project managers would agree it was important. I am in the processing of collecting data about project managers and emotional intelligence through an online survey which is currently underway. The early results of the survey are promising.
· All respondents “strongly agreed” that EQ has contributed to their success to date
· All respondents “strongly agreed” that EQ can contribute to their future success
· All respondents either agreed somewhat or strongly agreed that they are interested in learning more about applying emotional intelligence
